The Central church of Christ desires to follow the example of the New Testament church.

  • We accept the Bible as the final authority in all matters spiritual.

  • We seek to speak only where the Bible speaks and accept the Bible’s silence as well.

  • We make it our aim to follow the New Testament pattern for worship, organization, leadership, means of seeking salvation, and daily conduct.

  • We desire to be a congregation who love others as Christ loves us.

  • We want to get to know you. Please linger after services so we may meet you. If you are looking for a church home we would be honored if you would consider Central.

During our worship service you will see our congregation singing, praying, reading the Bible, partaking of the Lord’s Supper, giving of our means, and studying
a lesson from God’s Word.

  • Our singing is a capella.

“Singing to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord.”(Ephesians 5:19)

  • Our worship service contains several times to talk to God through the avenue of prayer.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6)

  • The reading of God’s Word is a part of each service.

“They received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily.” (Acts 17:11)

  • We partake of the Lord’s supper during our worship service.

“And on the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread…” (Acts 20:7)

  • We give of our means.

“Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion: for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

  • We study the Bible.

“On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul began teaching to them…" (Acts 20:7)
“Study to show yourself approved to God”
    (2 Timothy 2:15)
